Thomas J. Graca, Director of Academic Affairs
Tom Graca is the Director of the Office of Academic Affairs. He has over fifteen years of experience in higher education teaching, research, and administration. Tom has a law degree from Southern Methodist University’s Dedman School of Law and a Doctor of Education degree in higher education from Texas A&M University at Commerce.
Kristin M. Flower, Administrative Director, First Year Problem Solving Workshop; Academic Affairs Specialist
Kristin Flower manages a variety of projects for OAA including institutional reporting, 1L Reading Groups, Student Writing Prizes, and serves as the school's liaison to the ABA and AALS. She also serves as Administrative Director of the First-Year Problem Solving Workshop Program. Prior to joining the Office of Academic Affairs, Kristin worked in the HLS Dean’s Office and before that as a Faculty Assistant. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music and Psychology from SUNY Geneseo and a Master of Music from UMass Amherst.
Miriam Leigh, Data Administrator
Miriam Leigh manages faculty information, the content of the online faculty directory available to the public and the internal web portal that faculty use for their administrative tasks. Before joining the Office of Academic Affairs, she worked in the Faculty of Arts and Sciences and in the Harvard College Library. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from McGill University and a Master of Science in Library and Information Science from Simmons College.
Aileen Slater, Program Coordinator
Marketa Crandle, Staff Assistant
Marketa Crandle is the staff assistant in the Office of Academic Affairs. Prior to joining the HLS community, she was a development associate in the Massachusetts General Hospital Development Office, where she provided administrative support to three teams in their fundraising efforts. After graduating from Hamilton College, she spent a year abroad teaching English under a Fulbright Grant in Chiang Mai, Thailand. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and plans to pursue a Master’s in Education.
