Home Support Services for Faculty

ITS recommends a laptop computer for home use as this allows you to bring the laptop to the Help Desk as necessary for technical support or upgrades.  However, ITS also has available a technical consultant who will work with faculty members to provide home computer support (e.g., wireless setup, printer configuration, and PDA synchronization). The cost of home computer support will be charged to the discretionary portion of the faculty allowance. A wireless router for the home is provided by ITS at no cost to the faculty member.  Please contact the faculty technology support line at 617-496-9025 if you have home computer support needs.
