Dean's Reception and Discussion - Boston
May 13, 2010
An engaged group of alumni and guests spent the afternoon working with partners and fine-tuning their negotiation skills during “Mistaken Habits of the Merely Effective Negotiator,” a discussion led by Professor Robert C. Bordone '97. The group was treated to Bordone’s acclaimed presentation, based on his popular class and the Harvard Negotiation and Mediation Clinical Program.
After this interactive program, alumni and guests enjoyed a festive reception with Dean Minow in the Caspersen room of the Langdell Library. Dean Minow shared some exciting moments from the first year of her deanship, including the nomination of her friend Elena Kagan '86 to the US Supreme Court. In addition, Dean Minow reported on the increase to the HLS financial aid budget, the expansion of clinical programs and her continued dedication to making the public service sector an affordable route for graduates.
Dean Minow welcomes feedback and questions from alumni and can be reached at HLSAlumniEvents@law.harvard.edu.
