Have you ever used the small search box in the upper-right corner of your browser? Ever wished you could use it to search HOLLIS? Google Scholar? JSTOR? the HLS Library website? Now you can simply by installing the HLSL search plugins. The HLSL search plugins conform to the OpenSearch standard, include the Google Suggested Terms feature, and are supported by Firefox 2+ and Internet Explorer 7+.
Harvard Google Book Search allows you to search the full-text of all books available in Google Book Search with the addition of a Find at Harvard University link displayed next to each item in your search result. If an online version a book has been licensed by Harvard, you will be taken directly to the full-text. (HUID & PIN required)
Use Harvard Google Scholar to search scholarly literature, including peer-reviewed papers, theses, books, preprints, abstracts and technical reports from a wide variety of academic publishers, professional societies, preprint repositories and universities. Use the Find It @ Harvard links to obtain the full-text of Harvard-licensed materials. (HUID & PIN required)
Search the Harvard Law School Library website using Google. This plugin is based on a Google custom search engine.
The HeinOnline Law Journal Library provides full-text access in pdf format to law reviews and journals. Coverage begins with a journal's first volume but does not usually include its most recent volumes. This plugin uses a within 25 words proximity connector. (HUID & PIN required)

JSTOR is a digital archive of the leading academic journals from a wide range of disciplines. JSTOR coverage begins with a journal's first volume. However, to protect their economic viability, publishers for the majority of journals have placed embargoes of between 3 and 5 years making current content unavailable on JSTOR. This plugin uses a within 25 words proximity connector. (HUID & PIN required)
LexisNexis US Law Journals contains articles in full-text from law reviews and bar journals. Coverage varies by publication. This plugin performs a natural language search. (LexisNexis account required)
SSRN provides access to new scholarship including working papers in accounting, economics, financial economics, law and management. (HUID & PIN required)
Westlaw US Law Journals contains articles in full-text from law reviews, CLE course materials and bar journals. Coverage varies by publication. This plugin performs a natural language search. (Westlaw account required)
