Workstation Locations

Locations of Computers

The Library has nearly a hundred workstations, and thirty laser printers for use by patrons. All the public computers are configured for Library searching, general law research through online databases Lexis and Westlaw, Law School email functionality, and web browsing.

2nd Floor (main entrance level)

  • 6 terminals in the Lemann Lounge (just south of the main entry way), each with dedicated network printer.
  • 4 Terminals by the elevator bank (immediately after the turnstiles), each with dedicated network printer.
  • 24 Terminals in the computer classroom (in the north end), sharing 2 network printers

3rd Floor

  • 4 Terminals by the elevator bank, each with dedicated network printer.
  • 2 Terminals in the north stacks (stand-up terminals just outside the restroom area), each with dedicated printer.
  • 2 Terminals in the south stacks (sit-down terminals at the far end of the building), each with dedicated printer.

4th Floor

  • 6 Terminals on a table in the northeast end of the Reading Room, sharing a network printer
  • 6 Terminals on a table in the northwest end of the Reading Room, sharing a network printer
  • 6 Terminals on a table in the southwest end of the Reading Room, sharing a network printer
  • 4 Terminals in the front of the Reference Area (stand-up terminals), each pair sharing a network printer
  • 6 Terminals in Lab 408 (a small room to the left as you enter the Reference Area), sharing a network printer
  • 6 Terminals in Lab 403 (a small room to the right as you enter the Reference Area), sharing a network printer
  • 6 Terminals on a table in the back of the Reference Area, sharing a network printer

ILS

(These machines are not word processing-enabled.)

  • 5 Terminals to the right and left as you enter ILS, sharing 2 network printers
  • 2 Terminals on the west side of the main stacks, sharing a network printer
  • 1 CD workstation only for viewing international CD databases (does not have any public workstation functionality).
